A dramedy based on semi-true events...

PARKED is a romantic comedy short starring veteran actors; Robert Pralgo of Vampires Diaries, Furious 7, Father Figures and more. L.A. Winters of On The Come Up, Under The Influence, and more, but you may remember her as one half of the 1980’s Doublemint Gum twins!

Our film PARKED enjoyed a brief festival run with numerous nominations and a few awards as well! This quirky film successfully takes the audience on a journey from awkward drama to laugh out loud comedy.

 David and Kat are at the end of their long marriage and agree to meet for dinner, at the cross roads of their relationship, currently on life-support. Unwittingly, a parking spot and a young couple on their first date take them on a journey backwards and unexpectedly resuscitates their complicated relationship in an absurdly hilarious way!

 Parked brings the reality of difficult relationships to light in a real and heartwarming way much like the writer/director Nancy Meyers of It’s Complicated does. With shades of the comically absurd twists and turns found in the film Date Night. Parked really is based on semi-true events that the filmmakers/stars experienced; When after a screening, they went to dinner and witnessed a young couple’s first date and the pairs’ hilarious mistaken car “adventures” …

 Vampire Diaries fans will recognize the charming Covington Square and famous Mystic Grill Restaurant where the beloved TV show was set and PARKED was filmed! Audiences from Twenty-somethings to Octogenarians will appreciate the awkward to sublime stages many relationships go through, from parked to drive and sometimes even reverse!

 Pralgo and Winters on screen chemistry takes the audience on a believably, difficult, hilarious and ultimately zany trip where the parking “gods’ win in kismet style! When karma meets Carpe Diem, a good parking spot should never be underestimated!
